Hi. My name is Morgan, but a lot of people call me Katie. I'm an electrical engineering major and an art minor. It's a little weird, right?

I've been drawing and painting for almost two years now. It started as a way to relax and concentrate when I wasn't studying physics, circuits, or calculus, but it has become a way for me to celebrate the beauty and the chaos I see every day. As an engineer, I try to plan and analyze everything, but as an artist, I know that some of the most wonderful things are unexpected.

My favorite media are watercolor, pen, and ink, but I like trying new media. I love using cheap office supplies like ballpoint pens, sharpies, highlighters, and even crayola crayons in my work.

I also illustrated posters for the NASA Psyche mission! In partnership with ASU's School of Earth and Space Exploration, NASA is sending an orbiter to a metal asteroid called (16) Psyche. My job was to create illustrations that inspire the public and connect them to the science and engineering of the mission. I am currently working on a meteorite imaging system for the same mission as my senior design project.
